Customization Images Tab
The Customization Images tab allows you to create a curated library of pre-approved images that customers can use when customizing POD products with the Imagify Design tool.
Configuring Customization Assets
- Click for "Customization Images" tab in Asset Library
- Click "Select Asset Images" button
- A dialog showing your Asset Library is in selection mode
- Check/select assets to make available for customization (assets not already selected will be marked)
- Click "Add Images" to save your selection
- Selected images appear as thumbnail cards with delete buttons
- Images are saved automatically — no additional save button needed
How It Works: When you enable "Allow Only Asset Image for Customization" on a product, customers can only choose from the assets configured on the tab. They cannot upload their own images, ensuring brand consistency and design quality control.
Using Customization Images in Products
To use this feature for your POD products, enable them from both places:
- Configure a POD product, enable them:
- Customization with Imagify-Design: — Enables the tool
- Allow Only Asset Image for Customization — Restricts to your assets
- Customers will only see images from your Asset Library
- Upload Branded images to Asset Library first, then enable this feature
- Perfect for companies: branded, consistent, and no customer uploads
Important: You must have assets configured in the Customization Images tab before enabling the "Allow Only Asset Image" feature on a product. Assets are shared across all products that use this feature.
Pro Tips for Asset Management
- Name files clearly: Organize your assets before uploading to ensure easy retrieval
- Upload high-quality originals: Upload .ai, .svg, .eps (high-res) and .png (transparent) versions for flexibility
- Keep originals: Upload high-resolution versions — they can be resized as needed
- Group by type: Use naming conventions (e.g., "logo-front-red.png", "shirt-back-blue.png")
- Preview before sending: Always preview assets to ensure you're selecting the right file
- Duplicate names: Use "All Images" for managing all "Customization Images" for customer-facing assets
Infinite Scroll & Pagination
The Asset Library uses smart loading for better performance:
- Loads 40 at a time for fast initial load
- Scroll to the bottom to automatically load more assets
- Loading indicator shows while more assets are loading
- All assets are cached for faster subsequent visits
✓ Selection Mode Behavior
- When selecting assets during product configuration:
- Already saved assets appear checked and cannot be re-selected
- New assets are visually dimmed in selection mode
- Can still select same asset multiple times for different product slots
- Your selections are saved automatically by hovering or clicking the save button

Common Use Cases
Reusing Logos Across Products
Upload your company logo once to the Asset Library, then select it when configuring multiple POD products. Any changes to the logo (by deleting the old one and uploading a new one) must be re-applied to individual products.
Creating Product Collections
You can set all relevant collection items with (e.g., seasonal collection), then quickly apply them to different products (Cups, bags, shirts). This prevents manually uploading the same artwork multiple times.
Managing Location Mockups
Store product mockup images (showing design placement for different locations: front, back, left chest, etc.) in the Asset Library. Reuse these mockup images across multiple products for consistency.
Bulk Product Setup
Pre-load all your artwork into the Asset Library before starting product configuration. This makes bulk product setup much faster — you can configure many products quickly by selecting from your pre-uploaded library instead of uploading each file individually.
